1Password (Best Password Manager) Official App Review and Tutorial

Tired of forgetting your passwords, bank account numbers, Pin numbers, or children's Social Security numbers. Stay tuned because I'm going to introduce you to a Nap to solve all these problems and more.

Just when you open one password, you'll be prompted to create a new vote. You'll create a master password or one password that will grant you access to the rest of the passwords you'll keep distance or inside the app. You will want to make this password a very strong password using combination of numbers, letters and special characters, but also easy enough for you to remember.

After create and master password, you'll be prompted to the Security tab. Here you have an opportunity to change your auto lock settings. If you want to secure the data in this app at all times, select Lock on Exit. This will require you to reenter your password every time you close and then reopen the app.

iCloud Syncing

You also have the opportunity to enable iCloud Syncing, which enables you to share one password data from this device, whichever iOS devices. Once you completed these steps, in your initial setup of the app, you are prompted to enter your master password.

You have three icons on the left side of the screen Favorites, Categories and Organize. Select Categories. You'll see the plus button at the top of the screen. Then select the plus button and you'll be provided multiple categories including logon, credit cards, passwords, email accounts, driver's license, Social Security numbers, reward programs, and more.

Let's Login

You one password has done an excellent job of providing canned login options for popular websites. If a website you would like to save your login information is not available, you can add a different one of your choice.

We will use a Facebook login for demonstration purposes. Enter your username or email address, then enter your Facebook password as you see the slider below. Your password is changing colors. One password will tell you how strong your password is. You should strive to always have a green display below. When you're complete click save.

Type in your username, then select Generate new password. Move the slider to the right to increase the length of your password and click Save. Another great feature of one password is the ability to store credit card information.

This comes in hand in the event that your credit card is stolen or you don't have it near you and you need the information. To make an online purchase, simply enter the information into the fields, including your full credit card number, your Pin number, your expiration date.

Make sure you enter your bank's contract information on the back of your card. In the event that your card is stolen, you can quickly log into one password to retrieve the phone number for your credit card company and report it stolen.

I've had to use this feature several times in the past year. To put holes on my credit cards while I found them because I misplaced them definitely comes in handy. Another feature that I think is important to point out is the Favorites tab.

Simply click the store on the left side of the screen, then add one of your logins to Favorites. This will allow you a quick access to frequently visit sites. Click the globe at the bottom left of the screen. This open One password brown browser and we'll use it to log in to Facebook. Using this method, we will not have to type in our Facebook password. Click the key and select Facebook from the login options. Your password information will now be entered.

Click login and you're complete. Click the Settings tab and you'll be able to see more options for One password. Pro features are available if you upgrade to the paid version.
