Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 (What's New?) - First Look and Quick Review
In the Last Article, We Saw First Look Of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, and today we're going to know about Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5.
And as you can see, there are going to be only two main differences in design with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 compared to its forerunner.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 - Quick Review
The First One is of course the Camera Layout.
Now it looks like their Flagship Samsung Galaxy S23 Lineup, bringing a unified design across all their Flagship Product Portfolio. Although, The camera specifications, will mostly remain same. So it's going to be a 50mp Main Camera, 12mp Ultra Wide and a 10mp 3X Telephoto Zoom Camera.
The Second Big Change we can see is the Hinge.
It now closes fully without any gap between the displays and that's due to the New Water Drop Hinge. This new Hinge is lighter, so the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is going to be 9 grams lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 at 253 grams.
It also makes the Phone almost 3mm thinner near the Hinge area, which is a huge difference. And the biggest change would be no visible crease, since the display now falls in an Oval Shape when closed, which will in fact improve the S Pen Writing Experience.
The cover screen size and the inner screen size will remain the same. Apart from the camera, everything else basically looks the same.
It looks like Samsung has focused more on the Galaxy Z Flip 5 this time, because that's where we're seeing some really big changes. The only big change the Galaxy Z Fold 5 has to offer is the New Hinge, which will solve the two most glaring problems the Galaxy Z Fold Series users have been complaining about, but won't offer anything substantial as far as the looks are concerned.
