Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED) - First Look and Quick Review

The big 1st info reveal regarding the Galaxy S24 Series is finally here. Samsung is putting it all on the line as they are going full-fledged with the S24 Lineup putting certain rumors to rest. Along with this, Samsung's biggest telephoto camera upgrade since the Galaxy S20 series is actually happening.

So first up, Samsung's actual codename for the S24 Series is now on the scene, thanks to the sources.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Series - CODENAME

Samsung has a history of calling certain codenames to their Galaxy S Lineup over the years but now with the S24, it's gonna be called Muse. It's further categorized as Muse 1, 2, & 3 respectively for the S24, S24 Plus & S24 Ultra.

Yes, despite the market condition and the previous rumors, Samsung is coming out with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus. We're most likely going to see all 3 models once again.

As for the actual codename, the meaning of Muse is something that inspires the artist or in this particular context is probably regarding creativity which is what Samsung needs at this point in the world of tech as we know smartphones in general.

It's very hard to bring something new so Samsung could put all their efforts into refining the S24 Lineup to a level that we have not seen before.

CAMERA LENS

Along with the codename, sources have mentioned that the Optical Zoom is coming at 5x for the S24 Ultra.

There is no information whether it's a 3x to 5x zoom lens or just a 5x lens but it's very interesting that Samsung is upgrading this from 3x lens that we have seen since the S20 Series days and now it's finally getting upgraded to 5x on the S24 Ultra. It's very likely going to be a brand new sensor making it Samsung's most powerful Optical Zoom sensor ever.

As for the rest of the camera specs, the 200mm sensor is still here to be seen along with the Ultra Wide Angle Lens. We don't know if that is going to get upgraded plus the 10x optical zoom will also assist this 5x zoom setup. It's safe to say that Samsung will have the most powerful, most out of the mind zoom setup for the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

PROCESSOR

As for the chip news, Samsung is going to go with what's best for customer and that is very likely going to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
