Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 (Finally a Massive Upgrade) - First Look and Quick Review

Well, We're going to take a closer look at the Z Flip 5 rumors and see if it's worth upgrading to.

First of all, let's have a look at the Major Changes in the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5.

Major Changes in Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5

Just like the Fold 5, the Flip 5 will also be adopting that Teardrop Hinge. This will mean that the phone sits thinner in profile and won't have that huge gap in between. According to me, it's a big change as it will make it look better and more durable.

Size

It's also been confirmed that Samsung are reducing the size of the inner bezel. This will give it a more immersive experience, similar to what you get on a non folding phone.

There's been much opinions about the outside screen of the Flip 5. But Actually they're going to increase the size of it to 3.4 inches.

Camera

This is going to be a massive change over the previous Flip 4. Now, Starting with the cameras. They'll move horizontally and it will have a similar look to the Motorola Razor Plus that has just been released.

Overall, I think this is a good change as it will allow you to do many tasks without even opening the Flip. Now, unfortunately, this is where the good news stops as the Flip 5 will have the same 12MP cameras that it's always had.

Processor

The Flip 5 will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm) Chipset. So this should hopefully increase battery life that little bit more than the previous generation.

Overall I think the upgrade is beneficial, especially if you're coming from a Flip 3 because the battery life with the added benefit of it's outside screen is a massive improvement.
